Brode 1984 Entamaus Aug 23 Twin Government Camp 7100 ft., Palmer Valley Crater Lake Natl Park, Klamath Co, Ore. One specimen caught in mouse trap. They are very abundant but are less often seen about the rim area because of the predominance of the golden mantled squirrels. I did notice that in the early morning and evening hours the chipmunks [illegible] are most active and the ground squirrels less noticeable. Few people recognize the differences in these two forms.
