Brode 1934 July 28 went to collect in the desert but the weather was very hot and dry so I went to Walla Walla. July 29 Attempted to locate gopher workings east of Walla Walla travelled 10 miles but failed to locate any fresh working. 1 mi. N Government Camp, 7100 ft., Munson Valley, Crater Lake National Parks, Klamath Co., Oregon Aug 22 Put out 14 mouse traps and 6 gopher sets just below S of camp ground on the rim. Aug 23 I found one Peromyscus maniculatus in mouse trap and one Eutamias in the gopher sets found one Thomomys mazamae and one Callospermophilus s. chrysodemas Aug 24 With Barry Campbell I set out traps 3/4 mile N Government Camp, 6700 Munson Valley Crater Lake Natl Parks Klamath Co., Ore. the traps were set in microtus runways and near water ways my share of the trapping were two Microtus richardsoni Aug 23 found one Madrisota flaviventris one road way hit by a car. 1 mi SE Government Camp, 6500 ft., Munson Valley Crater Lake National Parks Klamath Co., Oregon.
