Brod 1934 Peromyscus maniculatus July 12 SW slope Mt. Grant, 10000ft Mineral Co., Nevada Caught nine specimens of this species among the rocks and short shrub sagebrush (Artemisia). July 13 Cat Creek, 8900 ft., Mt. Grant, Mineral Co., Nevada This was Friday the thirteenth and 13 specimens of this species found their way into my traps in all sorts of habitats from ground between Artemisia, Ribes, Service, and rocks to the top of a great granite boulder at least five feet high (had set trap there hoping to catch a rock mouse when I had seen there). July 14 Lapin Canyon, 8900 ft., Mt. Grant, Mineral Co., Nevada Caught two specimens near the bounders of the bog near camp, in Artemisia. July 15 Cottonwood Creek, 7900 ft., Mt. Grant, Mineral Co., Nevada from rocky slopes, from among the PiƱon pines and down in the creek bed I caught altogether eleven specimens. July 18 E. Walker P., 5050 ft., 2 mi. NW Morgana Ranch, Mineral Co., Nev. found one specimen in cottonwood near river and two in old alfalfa pasture. July 19 found one in trap placed on top of a large boulder on rocky hillside
