Brode 1934 Peromyscus maniculatus June 28 2 mi SW Pine Grove, 7250 ft., Mineral Co., Nevada Caught 12 specimens most of traps being in open areas 2 to 10 wide among Chrysothamnus and Artemisia along the valley and up than Artemisia and pinyon pines on the hillside above 7450ft. June 29 6 AM Caught one specimen in old trapline and 9 in traps set out last night. Half of specimens were immature. July 4 12 mi. S Yerington, 4600ft., W.Walker R., Lyon Co., Nevada nine specimens were taken from traps placed on the south hillside of the river bed some were up near the upper irrigation canal before it goes into the tunnel and some were in traps on the flat grassy plots near the river. July 5 One was trapped on a sandy soil bank among willows nears the river 4 ft. from my bed. July 9 3 mi. S Schurz, 4100 ft., Mineral Co. Nevada a trap set near my bed in camp yielded a specimen of this mouse. It was in a grove of cottonwoods. While this was the only specimen I collected here others trapped it in abundance.
