Pergnethus (parvus?)
July 8 3 mi. S. Schurz, 4100 ft., Mineral Co., Nevada
Found one specimen which strongly
favors the montana P. parvus. It was
in a trap I had placed on the sand of
the bottom of an irrigation canal
now dry.
July 10 A trap in camp placed near a burrow
had been robbed of bait for several days
but today had another specimen
of Pergnethus near to parvus. It
was caught on a dirt bank (4ft from
the top of a 12 ft bank) see sketch in Itiner.
ary notes. I gave the specimen to
Dr. Hall whose number 4192 it now
is.
