I trapped skunks along a drain ditch
in this locality and caught about
a dozen. I sold all skins to the fur
buyer except this one ♂ which I
saved for a specimen. The skunks
are found all over the valley and
especially along the Carson river
and canal banks & drain ditch
banks where burrows afford
protection. (No 140 a ♂ JRA)
