10 mi. SW Fallon, 400 ft. Churchill Co., Nevada.
Aug. 13 1938 In company with E. Raymond Hall & Laura Mills we went to the Indian cave and there with a dip net caught a number of Mexican free tailed bats that were driven out of the crevices in the cave + were caught. No 177a J.H., was caught in this manner. Several dozen of these bats were in this cave.
June 15 1939 On this day with Vernon Mills > went to this above location and within 100 yards of the cave where a colony of Antozous pellidus were rearing young a cave with Mexican Free tails was inspected. This cave is same as one "" on Aug 13, 1938 in company with E. Raymond Hall. As on previous occasion free tail American were found. Throwing a clod of dirt into the crevices out flew about 15 bats four were shot that revealed all were females and so I found the following
