Antrozous pallidus
12 mi. SW Fallon, 7000 ft., Churchill Co., Nevada.
crevices in the ceiling. Many
of them flew out of the cave on
being alarmed. They all of these
bats apparently were females
and many flying out of the
cave had from one to two
young clinging to their teats
of the adult ♀. Some with
young would fly around outside
of cave for about one to three
minutes then return to the
cave. Others flew out of cave
with young & took a straight
course out across the valley
toward Carson Lake & to my
knowledge did not return
while we were at the cave.
Several of these bats were
shot with the following information:
3 ♀'s with no young clinging to teats
as they flew out of cave.
2 ♀'s had 2 young each, as they
flew out of cave
3 ♀'s had 1 young each, as they
flew out of cave.
In each instance it was
