Alcorn 1939 myotis 1 mi. E + 2 mi. N of Gerington, 4700 ft., Lyon Co., Nevada. Dec. 27. Going 100 ft. from entrance, temperature 60° fahrenheit, 6 ft high on ceiling near side, we found another myotis clinging to the side of a crevice as illustrated. Rock Bat It took some force to remove bat from rock. The ears were erect + eyes were open but this bat was very slow and unable to fly. Going further into the tunnel at a distance of 120 ft., from the mouth of the tunnel an antrozous pallidus was found 6 ft. high in short crevicne near side of ceiling 60° fahrenheit; hanging straight down; ears erect, eyes open, + was unable to fly when pulled from the side of crevice to which it clung. Further in the tunnel, 138 ft. from mouth, 7ft high,
