1938 No 138a ♂♂ wt. 8 lbs. This porcupine was caught in a trap set in a willow thicket and hunted with one magpie.
Carbon River, 4300 ft, Lyon Co., Nevada.
Feb. 27,
1938 No. 139a ♀ wt. 9 lbs. This porcupine was shot out of the top of a large cottonwood tree at 2:00 PM.

1938 No 218 ♂ (skin only) Weight 28 lbs. was caught in a trap set for a coyote
