This porcupine was shot out of the top of a large cottonwood tree at 2:00 PM. Wilson Cr., 7500 ft, Nye Co., Nevada- Toquima range Oct. 10, 1938 No 218 ♂ (skin only) Weight 28 lbs. was caught in a trap set for a coyote Wilson Cr., 7200 ft, Toquima range, Nye Co., Nevada. Oct. 13 1938 No 225 ♂ who caught in a trap set along the stream. Camel Cr., 4700 ft, Lander Co., Nevada. Oct. 15 1938.
