J.R. Alcorn 1938 Ondatra zibethica 5 mi SW Fallon, 4000 ft, Churchill Co., Nevada. March 11, 1938 No. J.M. ♀ 141a, ♀ 142a, ♂ 143a were all caught in a drain [ditch] in traps that were baited with apples. These muskrats are common all over the valley in drain ditches, small ponds and [canals].
