J. Killearn 1940 Ondatra Jun Club, 5 1/2 mi. N Stillwater, 3900 ft., Churchill Co., Nevada. Aug. 25 The muskrats are more numerous in the fresh water and they avoid stagnant water. He has seen "rats" 1/4 mile out away from nearest water. He averaged about ($1.00) one dollar apiece for good prime rats that he trapped last winter.
