Dec. 24 and it appeared to be breathing
rapidly. I counted 63 of these
"paintings" in 15 seconds.
I placed one finger on the back
of the animal & it made
a series of short squeals.
It was 55° fahrenheit in
the cave to "
"
outside
the cave in the shade. No
other bats were seen so Mr.
Mills started to crawl out
through the small opening
when he saw a bat fly
past him & out of the
cave. When we all reached
the outside, examination
revealed the bat that flew
out had alighted on an old
bird's nest marked @ Mr.
Mills captured this bat.
Both of these bats were
active but the first showed
more fight than No 2.
& I placed my finger on bat
No 1 and its mouth was
opened and it tried to
cute me.
