Alcorn 1939. Microtus Aug. 10. Kingston Canyon, 7000 ft., Lander Co., Nevada. Last night traps were set along a small stream and this morning I caught 2 ♀'s & 3 ♂'s of Microtus. Runways of this animal were found under and among the grass growing along the edge of the stream. Aug. 13. Baker Creek, 11,100 ft., White Pine Co., Nevada. Four or five of these meadow mice were captured in the grass that was growing along a stream. Their runways were noted at several different locations in the grass for one or two miles along the stream.
