Myotis 12 mi E x 1 mi S Fallon, 3950 ft, Churchill Co., Nevada Dec. 24, 1939. entrance so small that we were forced to crawl on our hands and knees in order to enter it. Once inside one can stand up with ease. A cross section of this cave is sketched as follows. Side view I entered first and thought I could hear bats squeeling so I summoned for Mr. Mills & my father to "crawl" in. We examined the larger portion of the cave but found nothing. At the place marked + I found a small bat (Myotis subulatus?) It was tucked into a small crevice at a point where the cave was about 4 feet high. Its eyes were open, its dark ears erect, and mouth shut,
