Feb. 23 Many rats were caught on
an abandoned alfalfa field that
was sandy and covered with
many Russian thistle weeds.
Examinations of them is as follows:
f - normal uterus horns.
f - "
f - slightly enlarged uterus horns
M - one male. Total of 4.
It was noted that, about
the traps, many tail marks
indicated rats approached
the traps but did not touch
the bait of "chewed" rolled
oats.
