April 21 13 rats picked up in brush as (Poisoned) follows 5 ?'s 8 ?'s. ?'s as follows 3 ?'s were being suckled. Mamma's well develope 3 ?'s had normal uterus horns + no embryos 1 ? had 2 embryos 23 mm. 1 ? had 2 embryos 8 mm. 100 yds. SW Soda lake, 4000 ft., Churchill Co., Nevada. Aug. 23. Today I caught 10 rats in mouse traps set last night. 6 were ?'s 4 were ?'s. ? 's uterus horns + fallopian tubes were all normal with no enlargement. 4 mi. W Fallon, 4000 ft., Churchill Co., Nevada Aug.29 3 of these rats caught on a sand hill on my ranch 2 ?'s + 1 ? all ?'s fallopian tubes, uterus horns were normal with no enlargement. Aug. 30. 150 yds. SW Sodahake, 4000 ft., Churchill Co., Nevada. Aug 30. 46 of these rats were caught in 100 mouse traps set 10 feet apart. Traps were set in runways of this animal that lead from one burrow to another. Russian Thistle was the predominant vegetation growing on this once cleared land. 28 were ?'s 18 were ?'s . All ?'s uterus horns + fallopian tubes were normal size with no enlargement.
