One of these sand rats picked up
on the desert after the distribution
of strychnine coated rolled oats
had 4 embryos ½ developed. Measurements
in inches as follows 9¾ -5⅝-1⅞ -4/16 crown.
These Kangaroo rats are very numerous
on the desert and especially around
the borders of cultivated fields.
