J.R. Alcorn 1938 Sorex trowbridgei \frac{1}{2} mi. E Zneline, Lake Tahoe, 6350 ft., Washoe Co., Nevada Aug. 28. No. J.R.A. 194a. This shrew was caught about 10 or 15 feet from the water under a large tree. A bridge crosses the small stream at this point and the trees with pine needles come clear up to the water as the current is swift & the course of the stream too well defined to permit any grass to grow along it. The ground is covered with pine needles where I caught this animal - Trap baited with a raisen. Tahoe Meadows, 3-mi. S Rut Rose, Washoe Co., Nevada J.R.A. no 197a & shrew caught along a small stream in a mouse trap baited with a raisen
