Alcorn 1939 Sor ex palustris Aug. 10. Kingston Canyon, 7000 ft., Lander Co., Nevada. One ? was caught in a trap set near the water under an over hanging bank. The trap was baited with "chewed" rolled oats. J.R.A. 333-b. Baker Creek, 11,100 ft., White Pine Co., Nevada. August 15. J.R.A. no. 350 and J.R.A. no. 352. Aug. 16. These two shrews were caught in traps set along the waters edge + under an over-hanging bank. The traps were baited with "chewed" rolled oats. I believe a number of these shrews could be caught along this stream.
