The trap was baited with "chewed" rolled oats. J.R.A. 333-b. Baker Creek, 11,100 ft., White Pine Co., Nevada. August 15. J.R.A. no. 350 and J.R.A. no. 352. Aug. 16. These two shrews were caught in traps set along the waters edge + under an over-hanging bank. The traps were baited with "chewed" rolled oats. I believe a number of these shrews could be caught along this stream.
