AICORN 1935 Ctellerus lateralis Aug. 16. Kingston Canyon, 7000 ft. Lander Co., Nev.. About 10 a.m.- in camp, my attention was attracted by a chatter of what I saw was a C. lateralis pursued by a long-tailed weasel, full grown, about 2 feet behind the Citellus. When Longhurst and I leaped for our guns the two animals were frightened; the weasel and squirrel ran in opposite directions and we saw neither again. The weasel had a white spot patch on its forehead. One Citellus lateralis was shot (not prepared) about 200 yds above camp.
