1/2 mi. E Zephyr Cave, Lake Tahoe, Douglas Co., Nevada.

Many mole runs "bulges" were seen out through the conifer trees and along the small stream. All those that were out away from the stream were rather old & apparently the moles had been working this, now dry, ground in early spring when it was moist. I set a trap but none were caught.

No. JRA 185a, 1929 and 188a. These three moles were caught along a small stream. Many other mole runs were seen. Most of the runs noted were very old & were out in the conifer forests where the ground was dry. All fresh runs were in moist ground.
