40 Blue Grosbeak. 597 Guiraca caerulea 1891. 4/25 Say four or five today & shot one. Lgth. 7, Extent.10 1/2 wg. 3. 5-0, Tail 3, Bill, .62, The chestnut of wings was very conspicuous. J. 1890 May 16 6 ft. up in thicker, 3 eggs, nearly incub. Tule, grass roots & dry grass, lined with black horse hair, diam. 2.75 depth 2. diam 4. X 5 depth, 4.10 meters. 1894. June 21 San Benito J., "Lytle C.K. Report". July 16: Came along the row of bushes and trees leading east from Benzoin's. N. Arroyo St. Feeding on barley, both cut and in the stock.
