19 Long Tail'd Chat. Icteria virens longicauda 683a June2 Took my first set of eggs. 1891. nest in an elderbush, about 2 1/2 ft. from ground. Bird clearly seen, 4 eggs, fresh. Saw one in our peartree today. Identity quite certain.
