"Other Notes." (Continued from pp 13.) 1894 Dec. 26. Spent a few hours at Spr. Brook, especially at the pond at its sourc where I shot a ? Regulua caludula and a ? Vermilion Flycatcher, (Shir # 190 and 189). Dec. 31. 8:15 P.M. Today I thought I would end up the old year with a few new birds so I saddled Bilhi and rode around Spring Brook and to the river but saw hardly anything except Thickers after left the brook. Along the river I saw W. Yel, Thrush, Song Spar. Gnat C., Audubon's W. old Pereee - That's all! On the way back I stumbled onto a pair of ducks on an inland' pond but they were too quick for me.
