17 July Barrow, Alaska
Weather clear, Sunny & Warm - 60°F t.
Many mosquitoes were out - since as an
insect - I went to Bear Ridge + Cutter
Marsh during the morning - saw a flot
of Dunlin. In the afternoon - Specimen
insect samples were processed.
Weather remained clear - but
slight NE wind was blowing.
18 July Barrow, Alaska
Weather clear, calm & warm. In the morning, I
went to Bear Ridge - Wohllebog slough to check
on nests - There is still one active Dunlin nest
near me 50, and / Mrs B. Peckoff. Five (anther
deer just 5.1 Wohllebog near crossing) &
I met Brant Point. In the afternoon return -
I finished insect sample specimens.
Late in the evening, Schultz, Orges,
Doyd, Bohunack, Kaff, Sullivan, delivered &
I held a conference on seabird cycles
The funds exception, solvent was profitable
for all.
