Holmes, R 1962 Journal 29 9 July Barrow, Alaska north of Ruby Lake - (where a large caribou was seen) - 4 daleful flurries - Caribou March & Camp. 10 July Barrow, Alaska Went to Voth Line - insect plates & study - man's of the north - for feeding birds & to check i Shrew activity - where was injured bird. Weather overcast - 18 mph E wind. In the afternoon - I traveled along the B.R. - r SE the magnetic station - sweath steel and r windy. Several young bird found - PB, PT, + BP. 11 July Day code - overcast with 3-8 mph - coastal breeze. In the morning - I went to Bear Pody - Gothic Ridge - central marsh - Wrechle, flurries & North - Mary (120+) long-t. Jorgans hanging around - mostly fuder a mouse - but probably would take egg or chick if any were encountered. Banded a brood red-birds & (A Phalang- an ?belli's Plot - took Sam feeding seeds. In the afternoon - I went to Bear area - took observation seems thirteen & good samples. Made Sam feeding seem or rekey. Evening spent in processing.
