RT4 1964 Journal 27 june Barrow, Alaska 2100-2200 - still clear - but slight wind. - little bird activity; 1 WR chase, sev. PS chase. Warm day - large numbers of Chromomia Ada were present on the tundra. 28 june morning in lab. 1330-1700. No.B.R. Bird activity low, especially pectorals. WR's only at bend 1 beach ridge & near riverbank. Wind clear - 5-10 mph NW wind. 200-2200. Gasline & A.R. - wind 5-10 mph - weak - Ad.Tipuled (/Tipula) 29 june 0930-1200. No.B.R. Seved flock /WR, very few pectoralis. 1400-1700. NBR - little activity. Weather Clear all day - 10-15 mph - westerly. Evening seminar by Dr. G.Dallas Hanna 30 june 1000-1200 - inicumut sector 1 b.r. - little activity - chuckled web - saw 1 WR chase. 1400-1700. - P.bak plot - collected sex. buff-breasts. Weather clear - 5-15 mph NE wind. 1 july 0930-1200. No.B.R. micromelana. Weather - partly cloudy & misty. 1430-1800 - No. call zone B.A & N.B.R. Some WR chasing - 1 flying WR chases - every day is quiet - most PS have left - I host night heron today. Wind was calm. Gave Seminar at ARL That evening. 2 july 0930-1200 - No.B.R. - climbed 1 WR nest, - 1400 - 1600 - Gasline Ridge. Little activity. Weather Weather clear - light NE-NW wind - mids: 11058+ffp.
