4 June Barrow, Alaska
activity was fair - about 14 indw seen in Redn -
most even on the south slope / Wobbly flight
in Ondrud Marsh. - when also grass-clinging siph
was not evident.
Evening - luge trips to UMy - but ceased
strike a tract at the business / Students Road.
Washed 10th is - + wrote notes for new lands
1 evening - snow flurries
5 June - 0800-1130. To the west - via Button & Ortho areas.
Sweet plots, Dinali Ridge & Village Slope.
Weather overcast, cold NW wind - all puddle
Still un-curred at 1130: Jaeger scence -
2 S.C., 1 Sh.y. Own. - Best morning siph -
UMS phelp. - saw RB, PS, GE, RT + 2 Red Owls -
pen.
Very little display activity.
In afternoon - to BP - walked north end / Pichka's
Plat (17 disp. PS. at NE corner, 2 P22), saw
jaegers but fewer than yesterday, 1 local indw
chased on Amur. Rough-legged Hawk which was
setting on the mounds along the ridge. Saw PS
SRB along Elson Lagoon, north / Bothschlag
Weather overcast - cold westerly wind.
Evening in lab. Weather bad - wind nearing
gale force - snow flurries etc.
6 June 0800-1100. Walked beach ridge from 4 band to
Gasoline. 1BS, 2RB (pair), IPS transient, saw Pom Tarpers, 4, 5B.
Weather overcast - 5-10 mph. NW wind. Little displ. exc. RB.
