Holmes.F. 1963 Journal 24 Aug Barrow, Alaska Worked in lab all morning - Deboss arrived at 11:30. In the afternoon - we went out to Tool. The LAST insect sample. Weather was clear, sunny - with a light (5mph)-SW wind. - very pleasant. In evening samples were processed. Weather remained good - wind calmed. 25 Aug Barrow, Alaska Morning spent in finishing samples N in afternoon, I went to Ocheyet Flugt & checked Shorebirds - 1TP Ad, 3In, 6Aud KB, 2T PS, 2AARD + 12.9S. - Weather - cold muggy. Overcast & rain all day - 20-30mph NW wind. In late afternoon & evening - packing was done. 26 Aug Barrow, Alaska Quiet fog shrouded in the morning & Packing & writing progress reports all day. Suggested to leave a RYD - in late afternoon. Weather - overcast - heavy rain - high wind. FINIS!
