19 July Danny Hlosko
Evening - I went to Brook ridge & collected
several Baird Slop. Solves are now
showing good size. 1 foil plumage. - it
most is proceeding. Weather remains
clear generally color. A breeze
shifted to SOT (for West) during the
evenings & days. Flots / cicles
began moving toward the west.
20 July Barrow, Alaska
Childs, Stevens, & I went to Shrooivik via
AACs & gasoline sledy - 4 cheet forpline.
Several pertual flots & broods seen also
the way. On the plot - more pertual
were observed & 3 new nests & 2 new
brood were located. The subbot
actroph was lost.
Weather was foggy in early morning,
clearing by 10-1030, & being clear for
the remainder of the day. The eclipse/
Iesw could be seen through the
fog between 05at1000.
In the evening - specimens were
processed notr couth [Sod Sanger
were taken on the return trip from
Shrooivik]. Several lemming, good lemm
seg was in evidence - the plot. Several part
L-C. soap rows were also seen.
