R T Halme 1963 Journal 36. 18 July Barrow, Alaska In the morning, went to Arctic ridge plot #1. Most of the rest here have hatched - exc. for 1 pterodactyl, 1 nodosaur & 1 iguana floor. Several unattended pterosaurs - both sort of were present. Afternoon, I went to main plots & tried prod-vacuum plan. Samples - #5 & #7. Adult mosquitoes has decreased markedly in last 4 days. Every specimen were pressed & not too written. Weather Friday was overcast & misty in the morning - with light breeze - Afternoon. Wind 5-10 mph (from NE). 19 July Barrow, Alaska Drove to Sahlund research station during morning - saw several small flock: 1 PPS, 9 PPS & 7 PGP - very far south or RB club. Several more 1 pterodactyls were noticed lower. Weather was overcast - but the insects were out - including - Few mosquitoes. By afternoon, it became clear & I went to Volk Floyd run forward Devonian - again pterodactyls were the dominant bird seen. In the
