In the morning, I went to Beaver Ridge & The area south of not so soft lagoon - when I found an auger net with young I discovered that another brood destroyed + at least one adult shot. A fledgling redback was encountered; 2 $% were collected. No perches were noted in any direction. In the afternoon, I took soil samples at the insect plate & went thru Vok area & the high country to the south. Two perches nests were intact, one was not occupied - no $ & chin were nearby.
