3 July Barrow, Alaska
left for Shroavik at 0830 & stayed on Ne
plot all day - The activity was mcelut -
Some P pectorals were still displaying,
but a number of PP have departed-
allmo no flood were i evidence. Some
Redboe were sentheypd + 2 mmn RD
rest were located.
Weather was overcast in Ne early
morning but cleared by 0100 & it was
clear & warm, avg. very light wind
(from west - now shifting to north). In
evening, it became overcast & windy (NE-
10 mph). I went to BAS for crossword -
but there was little activity. - On
return, I helped Dr. V. Heuser get
more gasoline for his truck.
4 July Barrow, Alaska
In morning, I wrote notes & caught
up in lab work. Bohnsack came-
with dead BS found in drum area-
also with repeat 1 < Semipel
Arvool - behind the animal house.
Weather was overcast, therefore I
left rain + mist - left 5 mph
blown for the Northwest.
Rain continued all afternoon. I wet
out stook sod samples. Returned
