Holmes, R. 1963 Journal 27 June Barrow, Alaska Weather sunny - with 10mps east wind. Went to beach ridge in morning found not 1 Western Sandpiper. Then afternoon, soil sample taken & hunting was done in the 0th area. Evening in lot & happy hour. 23 June Barrow, Alaska Soil samples pulled & notes written in lot during the morning. In afternoon, I went to Else Lyon Riverbluffs (rough / aft karen Front on Bent Ridge). Weather Clear light NE breeze. I went to Von area. Bird activity was not great.
