Holmes,R. 1963 Journal 20. 17 June Barrow, Alaska Day lay slowed by mid afternoon & Be for ind / South plot was not well Censused. Four 3 pecture + 1 reborn meet today - Su 8p. acc'ts. In evening, The weather was still clear & calm - S. Q went & heard moby + Elsa Lopar - with the intent of reading songs. , but in general My bird activity was very quiet & little success was attained. At light they came up at 210s & reading was stopped at that time. One pecture of was removed from the removal plot. 18 June Barrow, Alaska Morning spent working on pond samples and specimens in lab. In afternoon, I went to insect pads & took soil samples. Found 2 RB nuts South of South salt lagoon - each with 4 eggs. Hunted in area south 100ft North Footprint - Saw 2 RB over + collected them. Pectures were fairly common. Weather overcast - with occasional sunny periods - light 5-wind breeze N.W., Evening collected specimens.
