Holmes, R. 1963 Journal 9 June Barns, Aldele Afternoon - went down west side / centre marsh - which is now covered with 1-2'1 water + mud ice, crossed east end / gasoline ridge - to fertility plots. To my point, most areas were incomplete with snow or melt water. However beyond the fertility plots - up to the north shore / Otlepit Slough lay exposed open fundus even crevices. Peatlands (both first series) very common, only occasional RB were seen. Lennin sign + Representatives / few jaguar and an owl indicate a poor lenin population. A stop to the north shore of the Shad Elsa - now Steyart Write + Ru pretted + few dunks river winding scabrous. Relatively little display, activity was sustained. No flok / any shrubs spear water. Weather - overcast - calm - occasional sun. By evening, heavy fog settled in; so lab work was done at this time.
