S.p. ; 18 Snow Owls ; Sw. Longspur - 8 P.S. Cherry ; Skravik : RBt White-rumped - Soil plot ; 1 Pomarine Jaeger Uth Area : 18 Pectoral Sage; Sw S.p. Selp. 1300 - 1630. Else Bluffs: N. Woldschley - 3 gr. RB; 2 R.T., gr.P.S. Soil Woldschley → Bokpik: 4 R.T. - Holly 68 P.S. ; Sw. R.B. 7 June Barrow, Alaska Weather overcast but no wind in the morning. Light N.W. breeze during the afternoon with some sunshine. Frogs were drawn by 650 - Snow became slushy quite late - & many areas along the Bead Ridge & Snow became exposed. 0800 - 1700. Uth - Br. Hen Aur - 5 Sanderling, 15+ Red-backed ; 2 Baird ; 2 Pectoral ; 2ot Semi-pale ; 1 Golden Plover; 4 Red-eyed Vireo; 1 Pipit (colliebeet) ; Longspur & buntings. 1300 - 1700. Bead Ridge (2 RB, 15 p. - along N. part of ridge - no birds in Pitelka's Plot). Elm Lagoon - flock of 1 Pectoral, Jun. RB, Sev. RT., 2 Pomarine Jaegers; Longspur & buntings . 2 Snow Owls along the Bead Ridge. - 1 near White-rumped - (on Pitelka's Plot)
