Holmes, R 1962 Journal 23 Aug Barrow, Alaska whereas yesterday - very little / anything (3 Phalarope! 1 mm pustilis) was found. Begarey - Pigeon birds all moving Through - at a substantial rate. Evening Spent in doing stomach analyses & note writing. 24 Aug Barrow, Alaska Morning spent in lab working - specimens & starting to pack materials to be sent south. In the afternoon, Stevens, Del Shiley (USC-) & I went out towards POINT BARROW - where a number 1 Sandlulzer, Umm (t/1Ad) Lindley, Red Phalarope & Blaevers Guses were noted. After getting - Retray Stool &m mists - It took us four hours to get out & finally made it back to camp by 1730. Weather overcast - not strong 5-15 mph eastern wind. 25 Aug Barrow, Alaska In the morning - I went to Central Marsh, Wideschleg, Storgyl ELS- Layon - Elson Odekipil Sloog - went to the Gasline & the vent to Meadon Whitlock ink camp. And a few species of melanobranch were noted: 21 jewars - YOYOS & relemming. In the afternoon - I went to Britton's Point area &
