Holmes,R 1962 Journal 19 Aug Barrow, Alaska Western Sols were encountered, as well as 1 R. Turnstone (imm.) + 1 semi- palmated Solf. (imm.). Skies cleared during the afternoon - it became bright & sunny. A light. (0-5 mph) northerly winds blowing. 20 Aug Barrow, Alaska Specimens pursued during the morning. Henri Stevens returned from Drums R. - Henri & Follin departed in a skin at 11:00. In the afternoon - I went Through Britton's Arm - Ni. 10A- sweet aur. - took soil samples - Ni. 10A & both E. 10B main river delta + to North end of Tintipont - took up along the fuseline - VOR crude - then both to camp. A few melaesate wore at the grand ponds & a w.o. 10A - 11dd f (imm). Apes wore at the grand pond. Little other activity was noted. Pickled red in evening (Whales overcast - with cold wind) winds blowing (3-8 mph). 21 Aug Barrow, Alaska Soil Samples pursued & mole south during the morning. In the afternoon I went Soud / Goaline Ridge - east lullion's Perfekte plot + north to Lobblerbog.
