SOFT PARTS: Iris, dark brown; Bill, blue horn dark edged: L & F, dark slate. SHOT: 7 A.M. (heavy rain). WGHT: 11.65gm. W: 67 (plus) TL: 64 SKL: C.O. STM. 1/2 insects. MOULT: W::R.1,2,3f,ll,l2, covs M. L. Ditto TL::R.3-6 L. ditto Body: back O, nape M, crown O. vent, belly, flanks, breast M, Neck O. ABR::w/t: nil Saturday, March 18th, 1939 WEATHER: Rain, almost constant sharp showers at few minute intervals all day, and always a light drizzle. Clouds 100%. Cloud carry from N. and N.W. BIRDS: Little or no observation possible. All birds very subdued and inactive. Saw and shot one Edolisoma, in very bad moult condition. This species seems to be in small parties generally high in the forests. Sunday, March 19th, 1939 WEATHER: Almost constant rain all day. Clouds 100%. Cloud carry from N.W. BIRDS: No observation possible. All species very subdued and not calling much. In the lighter drizzles most species seemed to have fed in desperation but did not seem to be very enthusiastic about things. Edolisoma again seen about camp and it was to be seen even in distant observation that they were in very bad moult.
