Black Hollow School corner. Excellent Alentany-Minore contact at 706 exact, apparently guppy from contour lines. Black Hollow School 1/2 mi N. Qu Hillton R in Franklin is Black Shale down to bottom. Black shale continues as far as road corner 3/4 mi NE of Black Hollow school. Black Hollow school, 1/8 mi N, at corner 706. Alentany-Minore contact at 706 exact. Peebles S 1/4 mile E 1/8 mi. then E of corner & E7 a short distance, Trimerella + gastropods. somewhere near 830 or 835. The underlying earth may have been black shale but I am not certain. Small Conchidina straparules mingled ones. 3/8 mi E of corner 827, Alentany-West Minor contact at 840. No sign of Minore here. 1/8 mi E of corner 827. Only baby near top of Minore at 795 about, but no sharp contact seen. From 827 corner, 3/8 mi E, then 1/4 mi N and 1/4 mi E, to terrace. Top of Minore exposure left to 820 approx only, but no contact with Alentani gy reefs. High kind, 1/2 mi SW at road junction to Black Pond & Mineral Sq go. First appearance of Minore top going down stream, at 6:30 about as far as can be told from contour lines. Peebles, center 1/4 mile. then 2/8 mi east on road to Pine Gap. First house in wide yard. West Minor up to 830 at least. Small cellar Creek, + Farm lots. Holgates above, SW road junction. Old State Road NE of Peebles, 1/2 mi N of #1 corner. Alentany-Minore contact at 850 about. The higher land in immediately west is underlain by Black shale, but only for a short distance west. Minore thick ness still considerable. 1/8 mi NW of 811 corner. Alentany-Minore contact at 841. With Alentany & Black shale N but fault eastward will appear. From 811 corner N 1/2 mi to #76 corner, at next corner's mi beyond is excellent Alentany. Minore contact at 782 about,
