Groups Lime Kiln, 1½ mi S, a little over
4 mi E, N to homey, then NE up shale gully,
22 ft above brice level = top of Brass
field exposures = 922 ft = contact
w/ Dayltm here at me.
= ¼ mi NW by 955 on Brandt pike,
From Andler Falls 4 mi S, 3½ mi E.
Brassfield outcrops 10th road E
of brice.
On same road, just E of mine, road
turns off S mile. Half a mile South
on this road the Brassfield (Lyme
joint?) is exposed near 880 ft.
Three quarters of a mile farther S,
½ mi S of Corner 902, top of Brass-
field is near 900 ft level.
On National pike, about half
way between Brassfield exposures
(1 mi E of Tanglewood) and
road corner 972 is rock which
looks like jendo euphemia of
Andler Falls section, near 935 ft.
SW corner 972, about ½ mile,
went old house now removed.
Brassfield top = about 940 ac-
cording to map. Apparently too
high judging from other sections
The Dayltm limestone once was
married here. Chiefly thin and
with clay between, except in lower
1 ft of section. Overal Dayltm
section at least 1 ft thick. This
is like the southern phase of the
Dayltm seen NE & SE of Tandalia
for miles.
From road corner 972, 1½ mile
east of Tanglewood, SE 1 mile,
then east ⅓ mile to old mill.
Brassfield - top of exposure at
910. Base probably somewhere
near 895 - but neither top nor
both my contacts are actually
exposed.
east of Speaker from ½ to ¾ mi.
joint lutes strike Magazine ridge,
looks like Dayltm.
Rock is thickly jointed also on going down the hill eastward.
West from Chambersburg 1½ mi.
Then SW from corner 937.
Dayltm limestone in vertical section
of 15 ft, but slopes 8 miles = 10 ft perhaps.
Thin bedded E. in clay between. Next page,
