I can'tt 6:13 ledge lin'son, 8ft 6in Hard green argill. shale, with small nodules at base. 3ft S smelling black fissile shale, parta- 14 shiners include underlying 2 layers. 2 in argilaceous shale with platy shell nodules, 3-4 in lateral diameter, 3 in fissile carbonaceous shale. 6 in dark apparent carbonaceous argillaceous shales but not fissile. 2 in grey calcareous phosphorized sandstone with articial sides. 5½ in well crystalline argillaceous shales with numerous fossils near middle. 94 ½ ft Elm's Black shale, fissile,
