Between 29 and 31 ft above massive R Stroyle, petrel was found during 7th valve, Between 13 and 21 ft above massive l. called R = Stroyle shale, limestone, phrydal clay, etc. 39ft 6 in. In 2nd cut= Stroyle & ammonite folled. Limestone inter-bedded. In 2nd cut all included in joints + 2 ft of overlying stiff, R = 2ft Massive l. layer in joint 3" out, from 1/3. 49ft 7in] 17ft 7in. Upper Wagnorville, in 3rd cut SW of Horn- back corne In 2ft 6in put in photo immediately 32ft Middle & lower Wagnorville, this former ha ded, 4th cut W of Homback, from 3 ft out in joints. No fossils, 2ft 6in between over-acc to legs on core, many tr andry layers & phrydal sections 4ft 9in dark blue arg. l. from bottom = Si- phylite boulder stone, badly exposed by R with sections, limestone or slate? 3 ft Over-bedded shale apparently more largely 13 ft covered, as does my Rg write ? 3ft Olat. legux beds, not extended form this level.
