At Morgan on the S incline, the With strata bed occurs about 48 feet above the Arching River. County road leading SWing, the ridge one mile ENE of Scranton Key There evidently is a strong mineral formity between the Gurnett mine and the adjoining strata. A mile and a quarter east of Dale on land of A Cross thraulty on ridge NE of farms John Crust limestone yellowish brown limestone, 2 ft 6 in "Marble" - fine grained light 4 in cream soft clay, 19 1/2 to 2 in cliff covered. 13 ft 6 in light grey limestone, top ledge thin fraser stratified, 2 ft Modular shelly limestone with one module containing a pipe-like litho structure, 2 ft lithographic l. layers, of varying thickness, also with shist but in much smaller quantities. 4 ft Rock similar to the latter except layered but weathering to flat bedded layers Continuously some shist, also spruce fern and chlorophylliferous strata green at stains cliff cliff, 3 shales one flaccuate, 57 ft 6 in covered. 1 shale: 19 1/2 ft [argillaceous], + arenaceous 4 ft covered. Coal Blossom. 12 ft 7 in covered. with some sagged flat thin shist 3 ft - Mesozoe light grey limestone. 3 ft 10 in light grey thin bedded limestone, 2 ft 3 in Modular limestone with litho structure: 1ft 4in. This bedder light grey limestone, partially covered 6ft 7/8 g. Limestone weathering yellowish 4ft 6in covered. 6ft 6 in greenish argill, shale.
