81 South of Simpson's Mine South of McAfee. Here towards N- Shed you part of hill, in the forest 30 west side of the woods as Cam- brian slaty shale exposures not exactly typical Cambrian but yet known to replace the Cambrian basal andstone more or less in many places. Strike Magnetic N 25 E. Dip 60 W, at top of hill towards the S.E. is a regular quartzite, which together with similar rocks at 22, and 83 I am inclined to consider "sandstone dykes" and not true Cambrian sediments. There are no exposures of Archcean limestone between these exposu res and the R.R. as indi- cated on the map.
