59 Archaen limestone, south east skt of the same are Archaen greens and crops. Possibly the indentation in the topography towards the east of a line connecting 59 and 62 was formerly to a greater or less extent limestone which has since been eroded away. In proof of this it may be suggested that north of the so-called Primatite Mine part of Sussex Wolds I saw plenty of limestone extending northward along one strike which may possibly run up into this indentation. This last tester to looked up before was long accepted as true.
