Sheb-48 30 S.E. of the bend in the road and several hundred yards south of the same, along the inner side of the hill are numerous Camb- rian sandstone exposures, weathered brown (after) owing to rain. Strike Magnetic N 55 E dip 60 W. From this point northward the topography indicates that the con- tact line between the Archean and the Cambrian lies just west of the ridge at steeper grade underwing the west side of the hill, and so for as Locality 31.
