May 27-31 July 16-18 July 30-Aug, 20 service (5 days) 110 James F. Harris, NJ Drive, My Estel Springs 4 mi. across creek wt. built side. +7½ 3 ft clay collected. Sandy shale fragment much less abundant here, sand toward -½ 11 ft small shale fragments in boggy clay, 16½ ft considerable sandy shell bed good. 2 ft massive limest in boggy. Along road towards Estel Springs from Harris, Fossiliferous over the 2 ft massive limestone in boggy. Chiefly on about the range 16 feet and at the top is a hygroma layer with in many fernsillodot or fine black flint in extraord, and a white bit of intercalate marl in my free check. Clay collected from 2-13 feet be low the 2 ft massive limestone bed. The section 0-2 feet below 2 ft marlin bed not observed. Below this lower clay is thin limestone intercalated with clay in great quantity, 12 ft. The mixture well exposed. Possibly the 5 ft clay bed be neath but not well exposed.
